"To My Parents: What I've Learned so far in ELA."

this year in Ela has been fun and interesting my goals this years is to read twice as many books this years then last year. last years i read harry potter books but my biggest accomplishment is reading the twilight books. my favorite unit this year has been the compare and contrast unit the reason why is because it is about the election this year and that was the topic i was most interested in these past few months. the way that we use technology this year is fun because its fun in a learning way not in a child fun way. we get our assiments on our email that the teacher make for us and we have to do it. the reason that i like the technology this year is because they trust us and i always feel independent when i don't have no one wacthing over me i get to do my work and the teacher trust me. my goals for the rest of the year is to read the whole twilight book series also to keep on making bigger and better essays. for example last year i had seven whole paragraphs in my essay. my goal for the rest of the year is to make at least fifteen paragraphs for any essay that i have to do the reason these are my goals are because next years i will be going to highschool and that how much paragraphs i have to do or even more then that so this is getting me ready for next year. reading and writing is important for the future because mostly famouse or important people have to read and write for the future for example presidents of the united states had to read and write to improve there reading and writing skills. because they need the writing skills to write speeches. and the reading skills to read laws that he has to sign. i also think that reading and writing is important for the future because what will you do without those skills, that's why i am preparing myself for the future.
